I knew early in our courtship that Zuri was the one I prayed for. His intelligence, huge heart, amazing sense of humor, and that he was the life of every party drew me in quickly and (almost) effortlessly.
I respect and admire so many things about this man; the way he cares for his friends and family, how open-minded and fearless he is, how he goes out of his way to make me smile. I don't believe your soul mate completes you, but complements and inspires you. I said YES because Zuri does these things so well. I am so proud to become his wife and life partner. I can't wait to journey to forever with him.
His Side
A wise man in bar once told me that "you should find a woman that is too good for you and become the man that she deserves." That always stuck with me. When I met Eartha we were partying for Cinco De Mayo and I will spare you the details but I'm glad she didn't slap me. When we finally went out, I knew she was different. As I got to know her, she made me want to be better in every aspect of my life. Her energy and positivity can't be duplicated. There is no one I would rather have as a co-pilot with me on this journey called life. With her by my side, I know we will get exactly where we need to be and I'm going to enjoy the hell out of the ride.
